WiS Meeting Minutes – April 25, 2020

10:05 – Opening and Introductions

Attendees:  Andrea, Katherine, Jadi, Ellen, Erica, Cindy, Hannah, Harish, Irena

Invited by the DAZ by mistake: Sabine Marschner, Ayo Fatunda, Ulrike Then-Knill (not vetted)

10:15 – The four member vetting committee includes:

  1. Jadi
  2. Vlora
  3. Cindy
  4. Barbara

As soon as three of the four reply with either a yea or nay, we can invite or gently reject.

 10:30 – The prompt:

  6. Andrea – A short monologue on the current situation 

11:00 – Business:

  • Jim’s envisaged yearly business meeting be moved to May 16.
  •  DAZ might possibly start having real life events again in June. It is still uncertain.
  •  The blurb for the October 23rd meeting is due on May 16th à 25th                        anniversary of DAZ Stuttgart (Do we need an additional topic?!? à Being  Connected? / Everything is connected? à vote May 16th?)
  • Erica has apprehensions on Dreigroschentheater.
  •  Agreed by Andrea
  •  A Zoom reading was discussed.
  • Cindy- Password controlled, don’t want people to record it.
  • Katharine- We can disable recording in Zoom
  • Harish- We can explicitly state in the invites that no recording is allowed.

Closing comments from Andrea and everyone felt the meeting was more effective and disciplined. Agreement to add an additional WiS meeting on Saturday, May 9th, 2020 for those who are missing other WiSsers’ faces. Same time. Same place. Andrea will ask permission to get into the DAZ’s ZOOM room for this additional ZOOM meeting.
